# How to Verify (KYC)

## How do I verify my account? 

X4T has implemented a Know Your Customer (KYC) process to help ensure users can transact securely. The process is simple, straightforward, and can be completed in just a few minutes. You will only require a valid email address and a valid ID document. We do not need a phone number or physical address confirmation.

## Step-by-step guide to completing KYC on X4T

1. **Verify Now**  
   From your X4T dashboard, click **“Verify now”** to start the verification process.

2. **Enter your personal information**  
   Fill in your address details: street, number, postal code, city, and country. Note: If you plan on using bank transactions, it is important that we have the same physical address information about you as your bank.

3. **Choose your identity document**  
   Select the document type you want to use (National ID, passport, or driver’s license) and the issuing country.

4. **Upload photos of your document**  
   Take and upload clear photos:  
* **National ID / Driver’s License:** front and back  
* **Passport:** main identification page

5. **Take a live selfie (liveness check)**  
   Allow camera access and follow the on-screen instructions to capture your face and complete the liveness verification.

6. **Wait for automatic verification**  
   In most cases, your profile will be verified automatically within the next **60 seconds**.  
   When you see **“Your profile has been verified”**, your account is ready to use and you can start trading securely on X4T.
